DSC has agreed a new joint project with I&R mobile phone stores network. From now on the Azercell clients will be able to learn the best prices for mobile phones sending an sms to the short number. Commercial launch is planned to April 2005.

The Azeri Star project commenced. This is the analogue of well known Russian Star Factory TV project. The best partner of DSC - "Mobitel", Nokia's Azerbaijan exclusive distributor, became the general sponsor of Azeri Star.
DSC has started the promotion of wap.pomidor.az on TV.

For the first time in CIS, DSC has launched the RingBackTones system together with Azercell. Clients of wireless operators may now change the monotonous waiting signal in their phones to the melody they select.

DSC representative took part in the two days seminar on copyright protection in Hotel Europa, Baku. Seminar held by US Embassy and National Committee for Copyright Protection, has been dedicated to the creation and development of the sector in Azerbaijan.
Copyright issues and cooperation with owners is a big part of day by day work of DSC.

09-11.03.2005 [Moscow]

Negotiations has been held and initial agreements reached with Nikita and Inform-Mobile companies in Moscow, Russia. For the first time the Azeri company is entering the value added services market in Russia.
The Russian non-voice market doubles annually and due to the expert opinion will reach half a billion dollars this year. Population of Russia is 150 millions people, with estimated 2 million Azeries permanently residing.

In the frames of Instant MMS project, DSC has sent several tens of thousands instant MMS greeting cards to the women of Azerbaijan, celebrating the Women Day together with clients. DSC pioneered with its instant MMS service, launched earlier in February and having no analogues in CIS for the time being.
